Our last trip of the season brought a snowboard legend to the slopes of Summit! Russell Winfield came with us for his first turns with Hacienda. This trip brought out a few repeat participants who were able to get on the lift quickly.

Our second day up with BGC Portland was another great success! We braved wet and cold to get our second group of participants up on the hill.
Our first trip with our new partner! We had an awesome day up at Summit with fresh snow and clear skies! Imani was able to bring her (almost) 5 year old and he brought a fun younger energy to the mix and fell super hard for snowboarding.
Ziobur came to the US from Malaysia in November, the first time that he saw snow was in Portland earlier this year. He speaks very little English and his native language is Rohingya. For our second trip with Open School, we had a split of returning and new students.
Hacienda students had great attitudes and were great on a snowy day. They learned fast and wanted to keep riding until 3:30. Most students made it up on the lift. A few for the first time ever!
